Miami Officially Has a Drive Thru Movie Theatre!

Do you miss going to the movies? Well you are in luck. Carpool Cinema Wynwood is in full swing, taking you back in time to the good old days of drive-in movie theatres and broadcasting some of Hollywood’s time-honored flicks. Think nostalgic classics like Jurassic Park, Grease, Back to the Future and the Goonies!

Movies begin 30 minutes after the ticketed time to allow for parking, situating and ordering food. Parking is first come, first serve and any trucks or SUVs that could potentially block another car’s view will be led to a designated area. The movies will be aired rain or shine.

Restrooms are available. Viewers must remain cozy in their cars otherwise. Food can be pre-ordered on the website, with a wide range of choices from M&Ms to gourmet tacos from the newly opened La Tiendita, sister restaurant to the successful Backdoor Monkey and Dirty Burgers whose menus are also available for in-car dining!

Cost is $45 per car plus food and drink costs. The best part? YOU control the temperature!
